FAQ for CD & DVD Duplication

Is there a minimum quantity and do you offer quantity discounts?
No there is no minimum quantity.  Yes we do offer quantity discounts starting at 10 copies.
How much does it cost to duplicate my CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or other media?

Rates for all duplication are based on volume.  Answers to this question usually require a consultation on the size of your duplication project.

What is turnaround time for a duplication project?
Turnaround time depends on Duplication vs. Replication, printing, packaging and the volume.  We can run 10 full DVDs in about 14 minutes on a single run.  We can also run about 1,000 CDs in a day.  Anything with replication (manufacturing) has a minimum 10 business day turnaround. Blu-Ray Duplication is slower and depends on the size of the content.  Flash Drive and media cards also depend on file size as it relates to speed.
What options do I have for labels and cases?
Yes, there are many options to labels.  We can print on the discs in our office.  We maintain an inventory of a few hundred Jewel cases, sleeves and DVD cases in house and can get thousands more within a day.
I want to get color labels and color paper inserts; can you do that?
Yes, we use the Rimage Everest 600 machine to print in color on CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays.  There are also a number of paper print options for inserts and out-serts on your packaging.
How much does it cost to print a label for my CD, DVD or Blu-Ray?
CD or DVD label printing is based on quantity and color options. Due to the large number of variables, a price is not easy to provide without details.  The least costly option at low volume is a black thermal print onto the disc at $0.50 each.

CD Duplication & Printing

CDs have been a standard in audio production since the late 1980s. They also hold data for computers. The CD copy process is relatively simple, but when you need many copies, the task can become time consuming. Our duplication machines can copy many discs at the same time, meaning high-volume output. Our disc-printing options range from single-color (black, blue or red) thermal printing to full-color 600 dpi photo-quality printing. Packaging options range from sleeves to jewel cases and paper inserts.

Blu-Ray Duplication & Printing

Blu-rays have been a standard in high-definition video production since the mid 2000s. They also hold data for computers. The Blu-ray creation process is relatively time consuming due to the speed of burners, so the task can become time consuming. Our duplication machines can copy many discs at the same time, meaning high-volume output. Our disc-printing options range from single-color (black, blue or red) thermal printing to full-color 600dpi photo -uality printing. Packaging options range from sleeves to jewel cases or DVD  cases and paper inserts.

SD Card & MicroSD Card Duplication

There are many solid-state media cards out there, but SD and MicroSD cards have become common and adhere to standards. Our duplication machine will transfer data from one SD card or a computer and duplicate those files onto multiple cards at the same time. This allows for fast workflow and high volumes.

USB Flash Drives

USB flash drives, more commonly known as thumb drives or USB sticks, are very common in today’s market. The sharing of files on computers and the web have decreased the need for drives, but some data just needs to be backed up or shared in bulk. Our machine will transfer files from an existing flash drive or from a computer onto multiple drives at the same time. This allows for fast workflow and high volumes. Custom-printed USB drives of different styles or sizes can be ordered in bulk. Because of their light weight and size, shipping of these is less expensive than discs.
